I have been teaching for nearly 20 years. I have taught native English speakers and non-native English speakers alike. I’ve taught adults and children from all walks of life. My students have included children from average middle-class families in public schools to banking executives in their offices on Beijing’s Financial Street (Jin Rong Jie 金融街). From high school students preparing for tests to office workers seeking promotions, and from grocery store clerks bettering their situation to government functionaries engaging in international negotiations.
My style of teaching combines traditional values of self-directed learning with lifestyle mentoring that has allowed each and every one of my students to accomplish feats of learning that they thought they weren’t capable of.
Over the past 10 years, I’ve distilled all of my experiences and theories into an easy-to-learn course designed to give children the strongest possible start on their learning journey.
